In the modern fast-paced world we live in stress can often take its toll to the point where it needs to be addressed. The first step of combating stress is to acknowledge it. The second is to do something about it which is where Breathe2Relax comes in. Breathe2Relax is an iPhone, iPad and Android app designed to help alleviate stress using diaphragmatic breathing. The app description says:

Breathing exercises have been documented to decrease the body’s ‘fight-or-flight’ (stress) response, and help with mood stabilization, anger control, and anxiety management. Breathe2Relax can be used as a stand-alone stress reduction tool, or can be used in tandem with clinical care directed by a healthcare worker.
The app takes you through the process of setting yourself up to start the diaphragmatic breathing by giving you positional instructions, the choice of ambient music to play during it, the inhale and exhale cycling settings and a number of other options.
Once started it’s only a case of listening to the audio instructions telling you when to inhale and exhale. You can also set how many breathing cycles you perform.
Breathe2Relax also allows you to track your stress levels before and after the breathing which is a useful option to see if it is working or not. Chances are we think it will as it’s a very carefully thought out app which really does help.
